about

I’m Kerianne.

My urge to understand our world comes from two distinct quirks: my curiosity and my constant desire to move. I’m a serendipitous world wanderer, a professional note-taker, and a lover of Romance languages, journals, and random dancing.

I grew up in New Jersey, went to university in New York, studied abroad in Madrid, and then set off on a two-year adventure in South America. I taught English in Barranquilla, Colombia and Maceió, Brazil before heading to Austin, Texas to work in International Education as a road warrior and alumni coordinator for a study abroad company. I moved back to the east coast to work in admissions and travel/immigration at a global, project-based learning international school. Currently, I support distribution of technology resources, fellowship programming and college access and career exploration across low income high school students in NYC at a Brooklyn-based nonprofit.

You can find me exploring food cultures in NYC, adventuring outside in the mountains and along the coast, and soaking up the written word in books, essays and blogs.
